Hey the elections are coming up and im sure you hear it everytime you go downtown but i want to remind you theres not much time left so if you havnt registered to vote yet HURRY UP AND DO IT becuase theres some very important statewide measures on the ballot one of which i would like to bring to everyones attention is measure 33

Measure 33 states that a vote for amends the medical marijuana act by requiring marijuana dispensary/caregiver sales to patients.
now you might be wondering why they should open up dispensarys for marijuana and what the difference is between the old law and the new. well to skip all the fancy legal bs it increases the amount of medicine a patient can have by growing there own. Also for patients so ill the cant wait 3-5 months for there medicine or grow it under there condition there will be a source of medicine at there disposal (lets say this was antidepressants if you got a prescription saying you needed them but the pharmacy told you your going to have to make your own medicine wouldnt you find that a little rediculous). Also measure 33 allows not only doctors but nurses to issue standard medical marijuana applications.
Now you might be wondering why should I pay for all this they could use the money for something better well thats the great thing about it. the program is completely state funded along with the existing Oregon medical marijuana act. What you may no know is that all of this cost have been offset by patient fees. What you may not know is that the oregon medical marijuana program has a cash surplus of 986,356$ on top of the expenditures to run the program not included diverted funds taken from the surplus for the oregon house bill 2148. basicly what it all means is that if the measure passes not only will the program completely pay for itself but will also pay for many other important state programs.
Dont just take my word for it ask the people around you ask the people who have serious problems trying to get some meds. ask the many doctors, lawers and patients who are listed below and you will know we are the people this is our right and we need to fight for it.

So whether your quadriplegic or you are a recreational user or just a Oregonian I encourage you to VOTE YES ON MEASURE 33

There's a show in rememberance to a friend of mine who died last year from meningitis. It's called ManiFest (duh). Anyone who lives in the Eugene/Springfield/Salem area should go. 7 bands. 5 bucks. Can't get any better than that. So if you're into the live music stuff, and you like it cheap, then this is a good idea to go. Gonna be rockin' fun.

Show Date: Friday, October 8, 2004
Where: W.O.W. Hall
Location: The corner of 8th and Lincoln in Eugene (if anyone is interested and needs more specific directions, feel free to ask)

Last night I had the ultimate white trash dessert. Here is the recipe:

Trailer Park Mud Puddle
Two generic brand chocolate pudding cups
One banana(sliced)
1/2 cup Kix cereal

Empty pudding cups into bowl. Add sliced banana and Kix. Mix well. Serves one....unless your one of them city folks who's always on those damn diets.

Well I don't know how many of you noticed... But I gots the internet back! Yay! Anyway I wanted to share my most springtucky-est moment of the last month.

Me and Nick and Mark reweird my dads car with my sound system and were testing it out. All the windows were up, but the trunk was open. Anyway this lady that looks I-fucking-DENTICAL to Napolien Dynimite come scamppering up my driveway hiding behind the trees to see whats going on. Fro, glasses, 80's running shorts... she was like 60 though. Anyway she gets scared, so she comes back with her husband. He looked like Mr. Wizard... a science show on Nickaloden back in the day...

Anyway he comes up and yells with all his mite at us and we just ignore him. All the veins in his neck were popping out, and his face was maroon, and we couldnt hear a word he was saying. Anyway when I finally turned off the music and rolled down the window he said "Jesus Christ thats loud, can you turn it down" and Nick said "Sir could you not take the Lord's name in vein, this here is Christian music."

I love old people, and obviously they love me.

Isn't that what springtucky is all about, the love between 17 and 70 year olds? I mean... LOVE, yes thats why they make viagra! Santa i love you!

I went to the fair today! All the carnies reminded me of good ol' Springtucky. Most of them didn't have teeth and one of them asked me if'n I wanted to wrestle. Scary stuff.
